As we hit well past the halfway mark of 2015, it may be time to reflect on your branding & marketing plan and just make sure you’re executing the most effective methods and targeting the right areas for your business. Keep in mind, it is never too late to edit or build a solid marketing plan! To assist you with your reflection, our Marketing Director has put together a list of the top 3 Digital Marketing trends to look out for the rest of the year. You can use this list as a checklist for your marketing plan; make sure you have the three vital elements shown below. These are tools and methods that anyone can utilise for their business, additionally iSolutions is always here to help!

1. Content Marketing, which is basically raising your online traffic or gathering potential clients through your posted content including blogs, articles, reviews, images & latest news. This is arguably the most important trend to use and watch out for, due to the fact that content marketing raises your website traffic, sales, conversion rates, SEO ranking, and the amount of time users spend on your site.

2. Mobile. Need I say more? It has been a full year since Google released their Mobile Responsive Search update and if you haven’t updated your website to the ‘responsive’ mobile layout, then you’re disappointing the 80% of online users who prefer using ‘mobile friendly’ websites on their mobile phones and tablets. You can learn all you need to know about the “Mobilegeddon” on our previous blog.

3. Social Media Conversion is the process that is used after you gain a good amount of followers across your social media platforms. This step is where you convert your followers to clients which begins with you posting your blogs, or other important content on social media pages to create a direct link between your website and say Facebook for example.  Using these links you can direct traffic towards your marketing goals including newsletter sign ups, promotional material, discounts and other marketing strategies you may have. The main rule to keep in the back of your mind is making sure you’re selling your content appropriately to the different formats of different platforms, for example Twitter users are not going to want to click on a post that is very formal and imageless.

If you apply these three methods into your marketing plan, and take their effectiveness seriously, we can assure you a rise in traffic to your online business. Remember, if you have any questions feel free to the digital online marketing team at iSolutions Technology.
